Oscar's Everyone Day
23rd June 2024In 2021 Oscar the Grouch proposed one day each year where "we unite as a community and EVERYONE records an activity of some sort - a dog walk, a run, a swim, a ride, ski if you want...".
Sadly we lost Oscar in March, so I'd like to dedicate Everyone Day to him. Thank you for the inspiration you gave us Oscar.

Dudley Kingswinford Running Club (or DK as it is widely known) is based at Dudley Kingswinford Rugby Club at Swindon Road, Wallheath. A large club with a real mixture of members from beginners through to competitive runners, and lots of friendly faces.
Each year the club runs a beginners course to introduce those new to running to the sport. Beginners will be taken through a 12 week program, culminating in being able to run 3 miles non-stop.
There are people running from the club almost every weekday evening at 7.00 with mainly the ladies running Tues and Thurs, and gents Mon and Weds, though you can join us any night you fancy. Sunday morning runs of varying distances are a great social event. If you want to compete, there's members running all sorts of things who can advise you and help you along - anything from road running, relays, cross country and fell racing and also marathon's and ultra-distance events.
