True Gritts!
Well done to everyone at the weekend congrats to those who achieved the goals and commiserations to those whose races did not go to plan. Sorry to hear of your troubles Claire and agree with davie no point torturing yourself for another 90mins or so. Rest, recover and come back to the marathon when you're ready. Good to see you yesterday Jason, looked good after your 23m the day before. #78 yesterday in 3:05 for me, pleased with that after doing the SDW50 last Sat. |

3.05 for me too; optimistically headed out at 3hr pace but it was never quite on. Next time, maybe - although 3.05.10 means by 10 seconds it won't be in London! Well done those who did it, some awesome times there.

Excellent weekend's racing, and some serious toughing it out there too. Psi - aha, I didn't know who was header lord - you've missed us two Brighton boys off your awards list please! |

Well done all and thanks for the inspiring tales. I'm definitely getting back on the marathon trail later this year, not quite decided which events to target. London is obviously tempting, but would be quite a trek (I'm north of manchester, so that's would be a more practical choice).

Think Im targetting this again towards the end of the year if I can get some consistent training in. Any recommendations for a fast Autumn marathon?

Chester? I'm planning to do it if I'm in marathon-running condition by then, so could potentially offer you transport if you're going from hereabouts

Hmm. Chester, eh? Quite like the look of that. It clashes with GSR which was going to be my autumn target though. Decisions...
