jolguk Very,very hot evening. I think I went off too fast - as usual - and was having bad tummy troubles (which I still have the following day). I was forced to really slow up after the first couple of K, and considered stopping halfway. But the second half was much better, as it cooled down, and I was fresh enough to do a very gratifying sprint finish, beating the final lady in my sights. A good, well-organised course (albeit with slightly crap directions), and almost totally flat. I'm sure I'd have got a PB in cooler weather. Dragons RC 42:55 44:54 46:21 64.47
RunningBob 5th / 1st MV40. Course much improved by swapping industrial estate for more park. Flat but too many sharp turns and rough surfaces for a really fast time. Few seconds faster than last year. Wilmslow RC 33:01 34:10 34:54 79.74
