Boycie Very tough!!! Not helped by going the wrong way after about 4 miles and adding another mile onto the route! Extremely muddy in places - finished 17th overall... Unaffiliated 1:48:01 2:08:47 2:08:47 54.59
flanker Another excellent event, thought the mud made it very different to last year's frozen ground. Far more tiring on the legs ploughing through the mud.

Time wasn't what was expected, but the detour at mile 4 didn't exactly help, not did being in the bulk of the field and queueing for stiles.

marshalling, support & food all excellent.

Great event, will be back next year. Todmorden Harriers & AC, Trail Running Association, Fell Runners Association, LDWA 2:56:00 2:56:00 2:30:00 2:56:00 40.30
Phil_N My intention was to walk this as I didn't want to aggravate a recent injury. Walked the first couple of miles and then jogged past a group of walkers to get ahead of them, only problem was I forgot to stop jogging! Great event, muddy and difficult in places to keep your footing. Soup and crumble at the end was fab! FELL PONIES 2:20:07 3:05:00 3:05:00 38.00

Rubberman Totally different to last year, quite heavy going this time.
Got lost like most of the rest of the field, so the mileage could have been a little higher. Great fun, 1 minute faster than last year. Well marshalled, very friendly event.

SPKoF Much harder this year - last year was frozen so more like a road race underfoot. This year it was much softer and tough going. Wanted 2:30 and got 14 mins off last years time so quite happy - especially as I was in a group of about 20 people who added 1.1 miles on due to a missing sign @ mile 4 - Doh.

I reckon if you stuck to this years course (shorter than last years as you got to cut through Prestwold hall) it would be 15.1 miles. We'll find out next year because even with the getting lostness of it all this is still the best race of the year.

Finally, to whichever muppet stuck 100pb credits on me, you lucky chuffer!

Oh - I met boycie finally after having seen him run off into the distance so many time before. Long Eaton Running Club 2:08:00 2:22:25 2:22:25 49.42
