ancient 22nd and 2V50. Tough race - seemed to be either up or down for most of the race. Good running conditions, and although most roads not closed, no problem with traffic. Nice to see some horses on the roads! Trent Park Running Club, Watford Joggers 1:04:15 75.66
BigChiefRunningBore started reluctantly with cold, decided to go for it and see what happened, which was OK until 7 when it became too much. Stuck with it for another mile and then drifted letting people pass. Made effort on the downhill half mile to finish. Surprised I lasted as well as I did. Received a bag (rubbish), a mug, a water bottle, a T-shirt, a kit kat, a pen, a bag of pasta and sports drink - not bad for £13.00. Defo 9.5 miles not 9. Naomi P Ta to whoever changed the race distance :-) Nice conservative time estimate, I'll be pissed off if it takes me longer than 1:15... Blimey, that was hillier than expected. Full of cold and not with it at all, 1:12 was ok but could have gone sub 1:10 if not on sick bed. 10th of 96 ladies. Nice race, would do it again. Unaffiliated 1:15:00 1:12:25 64.25
