shannon lovely night and quite warm for running on this hilly course. legs a bit tired so didn't push it too hard and there seemed to be a wee extra turn b4 the massive downhill last 1k (3:10!). really enjoyed the run - just as good or even better compared to troon, so a shame it doesn't get the numbers. 1min slower than last year, i'm getting old. Sunbed Athlete Won the race.My 1st 10k victory.Very warm & clamy night.Took the lead @ 7k beat a guy who beat me by more than 1min @ last weeks Troon 10k so chuffed with that. The Belly Is Gaun Tae Get Ye Had forgotten how playful this course was, but still nice to run in the countryside around my home village again. If you like a challenge this is for you, but the last especially the downhill 1K at the finish is good. My time is in line with my mara pace so need to sharpen. Ride 63 40:34 42:35 44:00 45:47 59.04
