chrishunt A well organised race with good marshalling. Have to agree about the traffic as had to stop for cars entering from a side road, but just unlucky as not too much traffic in general. Easy parking. Would expect a better souvenir than a beer mat for the upper-end £14 entry fee. Got a PB and so did a lot of others so recommend it on that basis alone. Hope to do it again next year. Another advantage in the rain was that there was minimal waiting around time - straight from registration to the start line, so getting there 5 minutes before the start time is no problem, but as there are no chip timers don't leave it any closer than that! FellSurfer Wet and windy! Good course and it was well organised. Only downsides were roads were a little busy in places (don't think closing them off would be an option so not much could be done for that) and the memento at the end was....erm....basic (hopefully to keep costs down).
