Cat the Dog Lover Predicted time not far off! Did the challenge event. Less people in that one and the course was less trodden, given I would have been at the back of the race event. Lovely bog. Billingham Marsh House Harriers & AC 1:38:38 1:38:38 1:40:00 1:38:38 40.25
CD This is the fourth race I have completed in the Lakeland Series organised by Graham and Claire, all of them have been really well organised over wonderful lakeland coutryside with wonderful views.

The Derwenwtaer 13k is probably the easiest of the four and would be a great introduction to trail racing. Scunthorpe & District AC 1:40:58 1:40:58 1:40:58 38.85

Dave A Was setting a decent early pace until just after the bog and I got a stitch which held me up for 10 mins. I thought the bog bit was the hardest and reckon I would have broken the hour if I hadnt had that unfortunate stop..................

flanker great race - mud, climbs, torrential rain, bogs, rocks, great people - it's got the lot. Absolutely brilliant. Roll on Coniston & the 2007 series.

many thanks to graham, claire & all marshalls/helpers who turned out in atoricous weather.

I followed a fetch shirt for about 10k but couldn't get close enough to say hello, then all of a sudden he was behind me. not quite sure what happened. Looking at times it must have been XB, so a belated Todmorden Harriers & AC, Trail Running Association, Fell Runners Association, LDWA 1:38:35 1:38:35 1:20:00 1:38:35 35.82

Ramfan Very wet, but once out of the bog and onto the other side of the mountain I felt like I was running really well. The time says different but lots of people with Garmins said it was over 14k!
nb Just seen the web site for the race in 2007 and it says 14k Unaffiliated 1:40:19 1:40:19 1:40:19 37.81

Running Beard Official race time but my watch from line to line was a slightly faster 1:19:54
Great day in the rain, mud oh and that 200m of bog! Elvet Striders 1:20:06 1:20:06 1:20:06 46.58
SPKoF More of a fell race than trail race with some tough climbs and uneven ground.

The torrential rain made part of the course a bog.

Race was well marshalled but they claimed to have water on the course when they didnt and the course was slighly over distance.

I'll be back next year. Absolutly breathtaking race.
