IanS Garmin time - hopefully sneaked a wee PB :-) Tough course and a warm day, but a good turnout from Fetchies and a few club mates as well :-) Harmeny AC 1:38:43 1:38:43 1:42:11 61.44
Lexo As expected...Mr Sun popped out to say hello and tried to destroy as many runners as he could with his rays!!! Was doing fine till about 8 miles then the wheels came off and bounced down another undulating hill on the course. Miles 9-11 were torture but pulled it together a bit at the end....Clock was 1:33 ish so quite pleased as I mullered this last year in 1;38...Sun made a challenging course as tricky as ever. Personally I think this is one of the hardest halfs out there but it is very rewarding and wouldnt miss it ..next year for the sub 1:30!!!! Met lots of nice Fetchies as per. Including having a nice chat with Ribbenaface at about 5 miles in as he sauntered past me. (well done fella) to be fair he was doing the talking and I was just puffing and blowing a lot. Nice to see the Legendary Mick and Phil make an appearance, inspirational stuff Musselburgh & District Athletic Club 1:26:10 1:30:20 1:34:00 1:33:07 63.78

Mr. White Gotta love it! This is a great race which is firmly in my calendar now. Missed my HM PB by less than a minute but knocked over 10 minutes off last year's effort so there's some progress there to be pleased about. Great to meet everybody as usual, sorry I had to scoot off at the end.

Have very stiff calves and achilles for some reason (?) but sure some medicinal wine will help!

Ribenaface (RFSQL) Phew! Lovely sunny day! Great course - lots of not-big hills but they just keep on coming - nice, smiley, genuinely encouraging marshalls and lots of water stations were much appreciated. Full marks to the family around 8-9 miles in with the cowbells! Def a great race and will be putting this in the calendar next year.
Ran the first half pretty hard and managed to cling on to some pace through the second half, so a nice PB (watch time). Fetch stuff positive and inspiring as always: IanS PB'ing, chatting to Lexo en route who was fairly motoring up the hills (at something like 6m40 milie pace :-o !) , Ellem and LorraineS photoing and cheering, andydgg and fatboarder in a photo finish and MicknPhil finishing like the superstars they are.
