Dino69 Well i started out 2 fast,at 3 miles top of a hill stopped and wanted to quit, barney rubble wouldn,t let me, then koughkandi and canary yellow ran past me and i realised why i was feeling so rough and couldn,t breath being as they r all much faster than me and i had been in front of them, feeling a little reassured by this i set off again, until mile 7 when my hip started burning and a terrible pain was repeatedly shooting down me leg, this lasted the rest of the way back, this run turned in2 for me ,a shear achievement for finishing.nothing more nothing less,Idid enjoy the scenery and the event was very well organised, but gonna have a bit of a rest, me thinks now. Mark J 🇳🇿 Never run this distance before and hadn't managed to train at all in the last two weeks before the race due to more bloody football injuries. Without a doubt the hardest thing I have eevr done sporting wise. Ok up to 11 miles, slow but managable, the last stretch absolutely killed me but happy enough with a first attempt I guess. My legs are killing mne and they call this fun??? Unaffiliated 1:34:31 1:46:06 2:30:00 2:24:35 41.67
