FRU (KeepTheFaith) Wow - what a ride!! LOL Scorchio - but loads of water and sponge stops (I think they may have put on extra - it certainly felt like they were well timed stops) Top rough and tumble route.. really testing specially the sandy stretch along Sizewell sea front (lol!) - made me smile as I havent actually been along there since I was about 6 years old when we used to go swimming in the warm SizewellB waters (I always wondered if I was a bit affected!!!!) The route had plenty of off road and shady woodland parts and although it was absolutly solid sun the shady bit's kept me going Mile 8-11/12 is a blur - all I remember is saying to myself Goyt Valley Striders 2:19:59 2:19:59 2:20:00 2:19:59 51.05
