_andy The Garmin says 1100ft for ascent and descent but a simple look at the map says that it's not that far out this time - there was probably 1000ft of Kinross Road Runners 1:16:26 1:16:26 1:16:26 64.19

Irontubs Definite PB never run 11 miles before!!! Ball park figure 2 hours ish
:-) Survived. Tough out and back, mostly down hill on way out which only meant one thing. UP most of the way back. Small and friendly race and good to meet some more of them there Fetchie folks-and don't forget the beer at the end!! Will probably give it another go next year Unaffiliated 1:48:40 1:48:40 2:00:00 1:48:40 51.56

Son of a Pronator Man I'm worth a bet here. I haven't run this distance for two years, and all my PB's have improved since then, so the omens are good. If I hit my prediction, I'll reach my highest ever Fetch Ranking, so that's something to aim for. * UPDATE* With aploogies to everyone who backed me, not only did I fail to hit my target, I didn't event PB, so I lost your credits in the heather at the roadside. They were last seen being eaten by a sheep. The second Battle of Sheriffmuir was the return leg of this out and back race where the climbing just went on and on. I pushed by just couldn't lift myself to get near the pace I needed. Edinburgh Athletic Club 1:16:39 1:19:23 1:13:00 1:19:23 66.08
Ticketyboo Woo hoo...knocked nearly 4 minutes off last year's time for a PB and 3rd place overall equalling my best ever finish in a race. Tough course, ran the first half a bit too fast and struggled badly on the first hills after the turn but eventually found a bit of a rhythm pulling away from the group behind between 9 and 10 miles. (Finishing position 3rd out of 102). Cumbernauld AAC, Scottish Veteran Harriers Club 1:08:01 1:08:01 1:08:01 71.57
