themookid Much mud and plenty of hills. 4 big climbs in total. Once again started strongly but tailed off badly over last mile or so. (that 3rd hill felt like everest!!) Just can't seem to convert good training form into a good race - big time frustrating!! Finishing place is still up on last year (72nd today) so should be pleased with that, but can't help but feel disapointed. 8th club finisher. Unaffiliated 31:20 31:20 39:27 53.40
Tom Tom Still awaiting the finish time, but 8th lady (equalling my best ever position), and my first top 10 finish of the season (so tail and ears are aloft!!). Quite enjoyed this course this time round. Usually, it's so dry you can get away with road shoes. No chance today! Lots of muddy stretches, the usual 2 nasty ba5tard hills that you lap twice and a proper bog near the finish... Unaffiliated 31:33 33:06 39:50 60.35
