AlB After race:- OK - like I thought couldnt get down to 42 mins BUT beat my predicted PB time! Enjoyed the race, but still think I could have tried harder and ran a tad faster! Never mind - still won the prize of 1st in my age category and helped club to get third womens team. Also 2nd ladies team for Oxon championships and 1st for Oxon 10k (age cat).
So great race! Highs - good atmosphere, bril marshals, fab tea and cakes after and T-shirts in ALL sizes. Lows - a bit slippy in paces due to leaves and muddy bit just before the finish, people moan a bit about runnng along the A40 - yes it was a little windy and there isnt loads of room for overtaking, but come on its not that bad really and its only a tiny bit of the overall course!

Jo-bee This was a nice race, good atmosphere and a lovely village but I didn't enjoy the fact that we went around again that was a bit boring and the part along the dual carriageway wasn't that pleasant but nice day overall. Unaffiliated 49:15 51:00 52:00 51:00 59.88

More of a Tortoise Last race before Vegas - haven't ever managed to complete it before which doesn't bode well! *UPDATE* thrilled and very surprised to get a whopping new PB here :) Very grateful that the weather had warmed up from yesterday too! SarahBoots (Solitude_Fairy) Recovering from injury... not sure about a PB yet. Would have been a certain one if it were not for the injury. See how it goes on race day. **UPDATE** Thrilled to get a PB by just under a minute, especially carrying a knee injury still. No pain from knee mind. Good race, although I do dislike laps, but enjoyable until about 8K when it really started to hurt. Great to see MoaT, Bridget, and Nick P amongst others. Unaffiliated 1:01:21 1:09:17 1:09:17 43.87
