Junglebear This was my best time in the 5K series, i was quite pleased with my results considering i hadn't done any running for over 3 years before i started training two weeks before the first race in Ferry Meadows in Peterborough. Wicked D only my 2nd go at distance and probably my last this year also will have run Newark Half on sunday but will again treat it as a sprint session for my full mara training so I guess i will be going for it fingers crossed**UPDATE 14th Aug** thighs feel REAL tight and sore after sundays Half BUT I'm gonna give this a real go it may take my mind off the pain ;) ***FINAL UPDATE*** my time was 23mins 19secs which is 8 secs slower than my PB how bad is that? ah well next time Unaffiliated 20:34 23:11 23:00 23:19 59.35
