Boycie Apparently this course is pancake flat, so one of my older PBs should be improved without too much difficulty. Get some credits on!!! UPDATE: Sorry guys big disappointment today... 3 main things went wrong i) My legs - think Man v Horse and Britain's Hardest Half have taken more out than expected, as they went to mush at about 6k today ii) the wind, being an airfield the course was very exposed and blowing a gale iii) garmin - forgot to turn it off after last run and so discovered it was flat today and it died like me at 6km... Sorry about that :-( Unaffiliated 34:46 36:28 37:40 39:21 67.09

Lincsfella a rapid change of plan here. should have been doing coventry fun run but thats cancelled due to weather. a really windy day (and dry until we had finished)....... and its not that flat. went out a bit too quick.... again! but a nice event, great momento at the finish. quite a few runners too. UKnetrunner 39:47 40:37 43:00 62.86
NathT Really enjoyed this race and was delighted to get a PB. Whether was OK and conditions were not too bad. Struggled between 7K and 8K but then managed to push on with someone to the finish. Really pleased for Zoe too who also clocked a PB! Unaffiliated 56:19 56:19 56:19 46.88
orbital sander my first 10K anything quicker than 1hr will do me. UPDATE - nearly killed me. outside of time i was aiming for. ah well. set my first proper PB. yeah!!!! Unaffiliated 1:00:12 1:00:12 1:00:00 1:02:18 47.87
Rich963 New 10k pb last week at Stathern in the drizzle. Good conditions this week and I think I might just find those 11 seconds....

Sorry to those that bet -had a rubbish race. Felt poor from 3k and couldn't hold the pace. Wind and uninspiring course didn't help, but never really got into it.
Stilton Striders RC 39:49 40:11 40:00 41:42 63.31
SPKoF Oh dear god that is a boring course. 2 different laps around a flat airfield. defo PB potential if you've not raced 4 times in the previous 5 days, got pissed as a fart the night before or if the wind isnt up.

Sadly all 3 of those conspired against me (Ok, the getting pissed bit was my own fault) but still happy as it was only 20 secs slower than my pb.

Very well organised. Lots of parking and quick to get off site at the end. A great memento of a glass cube with runners inside it. Way better than yet another cotton, cheap, sponser embossed T-shirt that will never get worn. Long Eaton Running Club 38:19 39:46 40:27 65.65
Stewey 100 Marathon Club, Roadhoggs Leicester AC 42:40 47:17 47:17 62.31
