Boycie I am looking forward to this race. Having used to live in Burton on the Wolds, I know the area quite well and come November the time has come to run around in lots of mud!!! UPDATE: Great time 7th overall in 1:51:34! Felt pretty comfortable and was running most of the race with another guy from OWLS and we just got into a good rhythm... Hopefully that'll win 1 or 2 Fetch points!!! Unaffiliated 1:48:01 1:51:34 2:00:00 1:51:34 63.01
Broccers What an absolutely fantastic race!!! Loved every sa=econd but particularly the Jelly Babies! Barrow Runners 2:48:57 3:01:00 3:15:00 3:01:00 43.21
Phil_N Providing my legs have recovered from recent races then I should beat last year's time. **Update** Perfect conditions both course and weather wise. Legs felt heavy the whole way round and the last two miles was a bit of a struggle, the only thing keeping me going was the crumble and custard at the end. Fantastic event yet again, oh and I smashed last years PB!! FELL PONIES 2:20:07 2:20:07 2:20:07 50.18

ross52477 Probably the most enjoyable race in the Midlands. I fail to see how the race can be improved - I even like the banter whilst queuing at the stiles in the first few miles. The feed stations are fanastic (mars bars, cakes, jelly babies etc), the marshalls are very supportive and the cource is fantastic. Well done to all those involved - I will be back next year.....even if it is just for the crumble and custard at the finish. Barrow Runners 2:18:00 2:22:00 3:00:00 2:22:00 49.51
Rubberman Lets see if i get lost the 3rd year running by following the person in front...
No wonder no one is ever quite sure of the distance.
I think that 21 miles was the record last year for one poor unfortunate. Looking forward to the selection of cakes at the school check point.
** UPDATE ** Ginger cake was hard to chew, but Mars bar was nice.
Conditions were good, so good result. Nice soop and apple crumble after.
Well organised, loads of markers this year so didnt get lost. Hermitage Harriers RC 2:02:00 2:02:00 2:15:00 2:02:00 58.68

Sonneur37 Great course, superbly marked and marshalled. Bit of a squeeze to get a number with 15mins to go! Happy with my time for the first outing at this distance. Finished 44th out of about 270 runner I think. Winning time was 1:43. Unaffiliated 2:08:00 2:08:00 2:20:00 2:08:00 59.98
SPKoF A nice bimble around the countryside with my clubmates. Brilliant run. Long Eaton Running Club 2:08:00 2:27:00 2:27:00 47.96
Two Towels. Back again to do this one after first doing the Inaugural one in 2005, i was injured last year, so missed it!

Cracking race, great feel good factor, great marshaling, great organisation and check points with food to take on board.
