Sudbury Fun Run

Banny The first official race of the year. This was the Sudbury Fun Run of 5 miles. After getting up at 4:30am to go I arrived at mum's at just after 7. what a breeze driving at that time, great. The sun rise was beautiful in front of me on the M25. The parking here was 11/2 miles way from the start but we managed to sponge a ride. Big trouble for me was my ankle, it was playing up along the way andf was touchy. I asked a St John's Ambulance man if there was any ice along the way. He said there would be lots of them. So for me it was about runing the race and to finish under 50 minutes was a real bonus. I made it and to be honest I never saw a single St John's Ambulance man except at the end and low and behold it was the same one from thestart point!
