Cloud Nine Hill Race

RunningBob This is a classic race up Congleton Cloud and back through great countryside. The Cloud is a small hill that is easily seen on your left if travelling between Macclesfield and Stoke on the expensive West Coast line. It starts along trail then crosses muddy fields before climbing the Cloud. Steeply up and over the summit rocks. No time for a picnic before running down through woods from the summit before climbing again over fields. Down through a farm, back over the muddy fields and a long flat run back along the trails to the start. This is clockwise route which it should be this year. This'll be my 3rd Cloud - must try to get under the hour! Update: Finished 7th same as last year. Horizontal rain, head wind, knee deep mud, we all went the wrong way.
