Baza Good 2 lap course with a couple of hills thrown in for good measure!! *Update* Cracking run, well done Fabienne & Crew on putting this on again. Had planned on running even splits in the hope of breaking 31 minutes. 1st mile went by in 5:49 slightly too quick given that it included a downhill section as well. Half way I was 15:20, so about on target. However 2nd lap began to take its toll on the legs especially on the uphill section. Ended up finishing in 31:08 just in front of PaW who was reeling me in. Here's to next year. Tigger - I'd heard of your 'vodka' adventures, my brother finished just behind you and you'd mentioned it to him on the way round, mind you he's not run for about 4 months - he thought he was in for a quiet weekend....lol, he's not thanking me much for persauding him to run! cake muncher Placed 8th overall & 2nd V40. Cracking wee race. Great location and course, both very scenic. Struggled a bit both times up the long drag but happy enough with my time. Falkland Trail Runners 25:06 28:19 28:19 78.79

Debstir Pleased with time as I've done squat-all all week because of a heavy cold. Garmin measured this as 5.22m. Great course, very scenic and a bit undulating. Very low key event but it's all part of it's charm, used by a few local clubs as part of their race series (ours included). Not a PB but faster than last year and still pleased all the same. Enigma Really pleased with another PB!!! My watch time is 33.09 so we'll see what the offical time says. Anyway, it's almost a minute faster tham my time from Cupar and this was a much hillier course. Really chuffed. Good to meet a few Fetchies tonight, there were a fair few around which is pretty good for a wee race like this one. I'm pleased to say that I felt pretty strong all the way round, my second lap was only 9 seconds slower than the first. Unaffiliated 31:46 31:46 33:30 33:09 63.99
Fat Boy Great to be back taking part in a race! Pleased to get around a challenging five miler with no adverse problems from my achilles. I really found the run very tough and my aerobic fitness is away to pot just now. Hopefully I'll be able to build on tonight's run and get myself back into shape. The race attracted a record turnout tonight with all the local clubs well represented. Good chatting to fellow Fetchies tonight who all ran well. Carnegie Harriers 25:55 33:01 35:01 61.81

Plussing As Which Really pleased with this run coming 1st lady. Finally felt like I have my legs back! Great course through beautiful countryside. Tough wee climb but not too extreme. Only a second off PB but that's all it takes! Lots of Fetchies in attendance. Good to meet Tigger - fueled by vodka - good going! And great to see Fat Boy returning to racing with no adverse effects! Unaffiliated 31:03 31:03 31:19 76.76
Steiny Great race well done to Fabienne for a brialliantly organised event.Unknown course for me.Which is not always a bad thing.Getting back to speed. And haven't run this distance in a race for a long time so had an old pb to update.Well done to Enigma on his pb!I felt reassuringly uncomfortable from the start ran into a wheelie bin at the bottom of the hill within the school grounds on the second lap ouch! However this gave me somethind other to think about rather than why my legs were not going as fast as I was telling them to.
