What’s the best bit of advice that you would give to new runners, bikers and swimmers? One bad run does not mean it's not for you. I don't know much about bikes - carry a spare inner tube? Swimming is great therapy for sore runners' legs :) |

YWA - Yoga for Self-discipline. This was really good and I don't think I'd done it before. Controlled pace with a focus on holding poses without fidgeting. Eagle pose strong on both sides and my crow flew today for a good few seconds! Bonnie loved joining me in reclined pigeon, making a nice pillow as we snuggled.

Bamburgh 100k with another 5k either side to and from cottage. Weather very kind most of the day - one quite heavy shower in the last 10 miles, otherwise blue skies & sunshine. J & M caught up with us about 22 miles in, we weren't far behind for what was left of the first half so we saw them again at the feed stop. Tempo run on Winwick loop - ran to feel for the middle miles and felt good! Pleased with pace in final tempo mile as although it's a downhill start it was into the wind, and I was getting tired.
