About Me

Post Southampton Marathon I'm thinking that a focus on 10k and HM times will really benefit a Spring 2018 sub 3:15 attempt in Manchester.

10k - Sub 40
HM - Sub 90 ideally around 1:27:xx

Mainly because I don't seem to naturally convert well from my half times to marathon so I'm thinking double HM PB plus 20ish minutes.

Good Aerobic Conditioning

Old rule is 1 mile PB plus 60 seconds equals marathon pace.

1 mile PB of 5:39 means my other PB's should be -

5k 18:19 5:54m/m
10k 38:12 6:09m/m
HM 1:23:54 6:24m/m
Marathon 2:54:21 6:39m/m

Long Term Goals:

5K 17:55 (5:46m/m)
10K 36:59 (5:57m/m)
HM 1:19:55 (6:05m/m)
Marathon 2:44:55 (6:17m/m)

Prior to Southampton Marathon a 13 mile MP session in the 80-84% Max HR AV zone.
