In Marathon recovery
As a fat ex smoker I decided to lose some weight in 2010. Did a bit of jogging with folks at work on a lunchtime and bike rides on a weekend. About May that year someone at work convinced me to run a local league race for my work running club. I did ok and more importantly enjoyed it. A bit later on that year I joined my local running club and ran my first standard distance race in August 2010; the Ray Harrison Memorial 10k, I finished in 43:10 and was hooked.
