STATUS Breathing is hard sometimes.

About Me
Came off the fags at the beginning of July 2010. Started running at the end of that month. Everything hurt by the end of August.

Ran my first half marathon in Edinburgh in May 2011. Did better than expected.

First marathon was the Moray Marathon in September 2011. It was quite a horrible experience but not quite bad enough to put me off doing another one.

I did the London and Edinburgh Marathons in Spring 2012. I thought it wasn't the best plan and that's how it turned out. 4:05 in London and DNF in the blazing sands of Port Seton a month later.

Having found out that running quickly for long distances is quite hard, I've taken up cycling and swimming long distances too. Splash, wobble, plod...

May the Lord have mercy on my soles.
