About Me
I used to run quite well when I was 16 for my school in cross country and 100 meters. Then as most 16 yr old's do, I got bored. Discovered beer and such. Then I never really did much until 14 yrs later when a friend asked me if I'd like to do the Stafford Half in 2009. I said no but then yes and then what err how?! So I joined a gym. I wasn't mega unfit but I wasn't fit and about 2 and bit stone heavier. So I started running about 3 miles with 3 or more stops on the way in probably 30+ mins. I slowly worked up to 6 miles about once a week, sometimes less.. And I ran the Stafford Half and did ok (well ok considering): 2:02. I then went OTT, joined Stone MM picked up knee injury from "over training", I gave up for 6 month's. And then started running again but slowly. I'm now running ultra's and sometimes racing twice a week if I can. I've never looked back, so far at least :)
