Started running in 2009 as a way to lose some weight. Was hopeless, but after building up to 5k at my local Race for Life I was hooked. Moved up to 10k in 2010 and then to Half Marathons in 2011. I'm never going to be at the front, but I figure that I'm just doing my own thing and I get there eventually. In 2012 I was plagued by injury, but keeping my fingers crossed that 2013 will be injury free. Thankfully I have regained a good deal of fitness Have discovered that I love running trails. Somtimes too many hills for my liking but I'm getting used to them. Nothing like getting covered in mud!
