About Me

I am a PhD student who decided earlier this year that the only way I can get more KMs in is to run to and from university. And also to do it in Vibram Five Fingers! So now I run twice a day and the KMs are rolling in. Playing the FetchEveryone 'game' of seeing my almost meaningless (on their own) numbers roll upwards is terribly addictive!

In the past I have run 10km races, though haven't done one in a couple of years. I did the Great South Run once but didn't really enjoy it. Still I want to improve my distance and get up to a half marathon and eventually a marathon, I just find long slow runs daunting! At the moment, as the run to uni is about 5km, I have been mostly improving at that distance, and doing a few ParkRuns to prove it.

Current Status

Glute injury that just won't go ruined Gosport HM prep. Still PB'd, but not sub-90 :-(
