Blackrock 5 race. Started quite strongly and didn't get boxed in this year although struggled crossing the sand with the uneveness. It felt worse than last year on the sand, but it was really windy yesterday as the tide retreated. Not much water behind the rock so hardly got wet much. Passed by Iain Shaw and just couldn't get back at him so he beat me by about 15 seconds. I managed to pass Ken Berry in the run up to the line, which was a bonus. (69th out of 714 - 9.6%!!! WELL CHUFFED)
