You may all think I'm mental, but this was a really fun cycle on the turbo trainer. It is the first one for a while and reminds me I need to train hard to get used to the new bike and the position it puts me in.
It was so much fun to feel how fast and how easy it was to turn the pedals over, the only difficulty was an ache in the arms due to the increased weight put on them (by the 50:50 split).
Anyway, I have decided I would be going at at least 30kph if I went like that out on the road:-)

How do you measure distance on a Turbo Trainer? I've never seen them up close and personal.
You can use a cadence sensor, but I don't have one. They are cheap but inaccurate.
Or a power meter but they are expensive and accurate.
I just make it up, but given I know how fast I go on the road (more than 30kph) then I think that is a reasonable pace to say.
