Brooks Glycerin reviewed by covbaldy on 9th March 2010 I had a pair of v6 and v67 and these are nothing like those two pairs, they are very hard in the sole, I wouldn't recomend them without a long test run and maybe the ability to take them back if needed. I run on my toes and I get cramps in my feet, not brilliant! |

Nike Lunar Racer reviewed by brotherjohn on 3rd March 2010 Easily the best shoes I have ever run in. Just hope they will last at least one season. |

Mizuno Wave Ascend reviewed by Luig on 27th February 2010 Best for hard or stony trails, woodland paths etc, although I've seen people fell race in them, and I've used them for (short) road races, so not a bad all rounder. Just retired my ascend 3's after 500 hard miles, cleaned them up they look like they could do another 500, and I can destroy other shoes in 200. Being picky, you might say they are a little wide in the toe box, and probably not the grippiest sole for the boggy stuff, but plenty of cushioning for a trail shoe. I'm replacing with ascend 4's that look to have a grippier ( is that a word ?) sole, and will be chuffed if they hold up as well. |

Mizuno Wave Inspire reviewed by Runner X on 16th February 2010 Previous shoes where Mizuno Wave Rider 11's but were wrecked...at least 1500 miles clocked.... went to Up & Running and got my running assessed and the Inspire 6 really improved my movement. I have run 3 times in the, only done about 17miles or so, but have noticed the slight pain in the knees and groin area that had has simply stopped. |
