Starting at the rather wonderful South Downs Way B&B in Poynings, the route passes along the bottom of Devils Dyke, then climbs steeply up to the ridge. Then a lovely roller coaster of an out and back along the SDW to Truleigh Hill, with fantastic views out to sea and inland to the Weald before plunging downhill back to Poynings.
