About this parkrun
Turned up to first event by accident on way to Oxford when nearest was cancelled.Lovely route, good paths, flat and well organised, parking near start, large toilet block. Great first event, well done to the whole team.

Tarmac paths. 2 laps start & finish in front of old swimming baths. Some twists. turns & an out & back by river. Run past castle & grounds. Car park over the bridge, close by. Cancellations can occur due to flooding. Great volunteer team.

Tarmac all the way, relatively flat 2 lapper but there is a couple of wee inclines in there that you do twice. A little congested at the start but not too bad.

A nice 2 lap course on good paths with only slight inclines. A bit tight in places but nothing that cause a problem. Nearby parking (pay and display but machine broken when we went), toilets available before although there was a queue.

Top tips to add: park in Jolly Sailor carpark (free, close to start), loos are a little way up from the start and tend to have slow queue so Sainsburys/Asda by the A5 probably quicker. Good little cafe by start - coped well with 15 Fetchies at once.

2 lapper on tarmac. A couple of tight turns meant my garmin measured it short.
