JonCPRC JonCPRC I ran a 'negative split' over the two 5K loops around the lake just missed out on a new 10K PB by 5 secs! I cannot get upset as the support from my wife and 6-year old daughter cheering me on as I passed them twice made it the most personally memorable and enjoyable running event for years. Melbourne Runner Melbourne Runner lovely day and well organised event.Had secret hopes of a PB, but it was not to be. Went through 5k in 24.21 and felt like slowing down there after. It was a struggle to keep going.Had a walk at the last water station. Disappointed with self.
