Willesden 5000m in conjunction with Willesden Triathlon Club and Queens Park Harriers   

Where: Willesden Sports Centre, Donnington Rd, London, NW10 3QX 

When: Wednesday August 3rd  

Cost: £7.00

• Race your pace, smash your PB in a fun, friendly 5000m.
• Races open to all abilities and speeds. If you have never done a track race before this is a perfect opportunity to join. No minimum standard or maximum cut off. 
• We pride ourselves on a fun and friendly atmosphere at our events.
• Races will be seeded so you will be running with racers of a similar ability as much as possible. 
• Please enter a 5K PB time from a race or parkrun to be eligible for the PB prizes. Anyone can win this, it is based on your improvement!

Shoe reminder:

the competition has a level 1 Licence so recent updated shoe rules from World Athletics apply. In summary, many new road racing shoes cannot be used for this meeting as the stack height will be too high and the majority of track spikes will comply. Please check the link below to ensure your shoes are approved as race officials will be duty bound to disqualify athletes competing in shoes not approved by World Athletics, this applies to all races on August 3rd.
