Kai Sunman won the 3rd South Yorkshire Road League fixture at Worsbrough. He finished in a time of 26:33, Gareth Cooke was 2nd in 26:54. Ruby Sykes and Naomi Drakeford were 1st and 2nd Females in times of 29:32 and 30:34 respectively. Chris McNicholas ran 31:55 to finish 1st V60 Male while Kerry Storrar finished 3rd V50 Female running 37:11.![]()

Tayla Brons travelled to Czechia to run the Prague Marathon. She finished in a time of 3:56:41 👏![]()

Chris McNicholas headed to Milton Keynes for his debut marathon in order to get a good for age time for London Marathon next year. He was comfortably under the 3:37 requirement, finishing in a time of 3:17:54 and 5th V60 Male. This time is also now Barnsley AC's V60 Male marathon Record. Well done Chris 👏![]()

At Barnsley Parkrun, Adam Lavelle completed his 300th Parkrun whilst Chris Gillott was first finisher with a time of 18:07. Gareth Cooke and Naomi Drakeford were both first finishers at Hull Parkrun. Naomi's time of 17:48 was also her overall Parkrun PB 💪![]()

Dean Wallace kicked off the week at the 2nd Trunce finishing over 3 minutes quicker than the first race in a time of 42:02 👏![]()

The Hartcliff Hill Fell Race had a new course for 2024, the 4.5 mile route had 755 feet of ascent. Finishing first 🥇 and therefore setting a new course record was Phil Montgomery with a time of 29:08 💥![]()

Barnsley Harriers held their first Silkstone Shuffle of the year on Thursday evening. Vicky Shaw finished 2nd 🥈 Female in 34:07 whilst Gemma Thickett ran a PB of 36:08 to finish 3rd 🥉 Female. Dean Wallace was 2nd 🥈 V60 Male in 39:13. Darrell Harrison finished in 44:22 and Stefen Radyk in 48:40 👏![]()

Chris McNicholas took 24 seconds off his 5k PB at the Mid Cheshire (Spring) 5k 💥 His time was 18:31 and he was 3rd 🥉 V60 Male. Kai Sunman finished in 15:10 whilst Ruby Sykes ran 17:12 👏![]()

At Dronfield 10k, Alan Nutton finished in 38:13, Gemma Thickett ran 45:16 and Stefen Radyk's time was 1:00:27 👏![]()

Gail Colville finished 3rd 🥉 Lady on a very hilly 8k course at the second race in the Circuito de Carreras Populares Diputación de Almeria 2024 in Enix. Her time was 35:33 💪![]()
