Congrats NBFS :-)
I expressed for s week or so plus mix fed my eldest but moved onto exclusively breastfed and carried on for a year. It can be done, but is hard work at this stage. Just keep going, you can do it! Xxx

Congrats NBFS!

Another baby announcement here: Emrys William Henry arrived on 5 July at 7.04pm weighing 6lb6oz.

I was booked in for induction on Saturday but it got brought forward to Tuesday after my BP went higher still.

He didn't cope very well with the induction though so ended up having an emergency Caesarian but the spinal failed had to have a GA. I don't remember meeting my little boy :(

We're all doing well now so that's the main thing and the yoga breathing definitely helped during the induction as I was having three minute contractions with only 30 to 60 secs between for over an hour and no pain relief. That was not fun!

Emrys has a slight tongue tie but is breast feeding well. The next challenge is trying to get him to sleep anywhere other than my chest as my arms and back ache and I haven't slept...

Two congratulations. That's wonderful news.

UC, I've no experience of a ga section and the not remembering meeting, do talk to people if you need to, and try and focus on the first time you do remember. I hope you get some sleep soon. Edith had a 'slight tongue tie' which didn't cause problems at first but did when she was a couple of months old, we ended up getting it snipped twice. If you're thinking about getting it done do it sooner rather than waiting. (I appreciate you probably have other things to think about and didn't ask for advice on it) in fact all of mine had one, but the boys' were problematic.

M4P...we're booking a private appt to get the tongue tie sorted as it can take 8-10 weeks to get an nhs referral here! My nephew also had it so knew of the issues. Our little ones tongue isn't too bad but it makes his feeding less efficient so want to get it sorted.

Suzy...how're you getting on with your little girl now?
