I also sorted out online supermarket shopping and bought a pack of newborn nappies, wipes & maternity pads (figured I'd rather stare confused at stuff from my sofa rather than in public) so now the emergency hospital bag is packed.

Thanks!
I feel fine, just a bit tired. I've had no sickness at all. Going to try and carry on as normal for as long as possible. The time between the test and the scan was the longest of my life!!

Congrats Oysterboy! Glad you've had the scan now and everything is good, I remember those weeks as also being the longest of my life, time never went so slowly! Now it's racing past.

Glad you're enjoying maternity leave so far BC, the reading sounds great, I am jealous! I have one of those adult colouring in books, found it quite relaxing for switching off the mind for a bit.

Yay oysterboy! Congratulations. Sounds like you are nearly ready BC. Whoop!

Had my 26 week appointment today. I am now officially huge - bump is measuring 28cm which is way above the 95th percentile on the chart. It's reassuring for me as Maxwell had restricted feral growth.

I've steered clear of that! I think I'd rather not know :-)

I had my last hypnobirthing session tonight and I've got the home birth midwife on Friday. I'm almost feeling all set to go now.

El Capitan broke up for summer today as well so it's all systems go on turning the spare room in to a nursery and buying the final last bits.

Hello all, I haven't been here for aaaages but my twins are turning two (two!) at the weekend and it has made me nostalgic for this lovely thread, so I have just been catching up :)

Congratulations to all those with bumps or new small things! OB, I binge-watched one born when I was pregnant. Forewarned is forearmed (especially if you end up giving birth surrounded by cameras 😉)

I used to watch One Born but since becoming pregnant I've avoided it. Don't need to see all the dramatic births they seem to show. Can't seem to escape people wanting to tell me their awful birth stories though...
