thanks for all the feedback, I feel really torn. The GP prescribed my minipill for the time being anyway as they would not fit the mirena unless using something (apparently withdrawal isn't good enough) but I feel so happy that for the first time in my adult life I am taking nothing and have regular periods...It's odd but feels like the body is doing it all on its own which is nice. talked about the snip again last night.....

Hi all

BC great update. You are nearly there! So exciting. Interesting about the bump dropping - sounds more comfortable anyway.

Neems glad that everything is OK after the bleeding. It must have been scary. My baby is a right little kicker as well, it's lovely to see my belly moving about.

All's well here. 26 weeks tommorrow! I'm pretty tired still, but enjoying walks in the sunshine to try to maintain at least some level of fitness! I will be finishing my placement 9 weeks today. I'll still have work to do after that (I have 21000 words to submit for my doctorate before I go off) but it will be nice to be at home.

Yes hope you're okay incognito.

Glad everyone else is good. BC how are you enjoying your maternity leave so far?!

Just wondered if anyone on here had Strep B when they were pregnant? I have recently found out I've got it and just wrote a blog about my concerns (it's buddies only so feel free to buddy me if you have any experience/comments).

I'm so glad I went when I did! It's probably the shock of stopping but I don't have the energy to do anything! I slept until 10am this morning, I've done about 30 minutes of housework and been to see the midwife. That's it! I had grand plans of what I was going to do once I'd finished but haven't had the energy to do anything.

The midwife today was all OK. Heartbeat fine, head down and only 2 weeks before I'm considered full term :-O (5 weeks to go officially though)

Enjoy it BC. I fully intend to laze around during my mat leave! Glad to hear that baby is OK.

Got my 26 week midwife appointment tommorrow. I really love going to see her, she's a lovely lady and we've got to know each other quite well over the last year. Hoping the bump is the right size. Baby is kicking away so presumably tings are OK in there...

Woohoo!
More Fetch babies!

How are you feeling Oysterboy? I think the 1st trimester drags on the longest (even though I knew nothing about mine until I was halfway through it!) so you're through the hard part already.

My tip for today is to tell anyone who tells you you need to start slowing down & resting up to do one! (unless there is an actual medical reason for it). I'm so glad I did as much as I could and kept active right up until last week. I am going nuts on the sofa!
Yesterday I went to a local music festival for the afternoon and now today my hands hurt from how I was sitting on the grass and my back's sore. I finally got round to spending the amazon vouchers I got for my birthday the other week so now at least I have a few books to read (and colour in, I bought one of those adult colouring in books with the idea that it might be relaxing & distracting :-) )
