Hi everyone - how are you all doing? Lambkin - all okay?

Battlecat - is it your last day at work tomorrow then? How are you feeling about it? I'm not sure how I'll feel when it comes to my last day...a bit lost maybe, or just relieved to be finished?! What are you planning to do with your time before baby arrives?

I had a scan today, an extra one because of the bleeding I had the other week, and the placenta being low. All is fine so I feel relieved about that. I have another scan at 34 weeks just to recheck. Baby is kicking loads now, it's really cool to watch and I can't help prodding and poking to get him to kick back :-)

Oh, got measured for a new bra yesterday and it turns out I've gone up 3 cup sizes :-o When do they stop growing?!

Hi Mik :-)

Yep, last day tomorrow. I'm relieved to be finished. All I want to do at the moment is lounge around. This last week has been a bit hectic with handing over to my maternity cover and I overdid it a bit at the weekend. I spent Sunday sleeping on the sofa but need at least another day. Just got to get through tomorrow then I can do what I like.
I'm nearly 35 weeks but everyone is commenting how much my bump has dropped and I feel very different now - I can breathe but my bump is really uncomfortable and walking isn't much fun (or sitting really - gym ball is getting used much more at the moment) so I'm glad to be able to do what I want form Wednesday. I think it will mostly be making good use of the outdoor pool at my gym! I just feel like I want to be in water to feel a bit lighter all the time.

Other than that I've still got lots of bits still to get (I haven't done any of the little bits - pads, nappies etc.) stuff like that should keep me occupied for the next 5ish weeks

Good news on the scan. My baby is the opposite if I prod it, it just hides away.

I went up 3 cup sizes quite quickly and then have gone up one more in the last month. 32A to a 36D. Not sure when they stop but I think they get even bigger once your milk comes in :-/ That's going to look a bit weird if they stay that size once the bump has gone

Comedy boobs for about 4-6 months post birth if you carry on breastfeeding. It's an interesting effect when the belly has gone!

I'm 11 months into breastfeeding and I've lost all my preg weight plus a couple of kilos. Seriously, with a bit of toning to firm the belly and some hair extensions, I could audition for Baywatch.... Keep trying on clothes and finding them a bit scandalous! No idea what my bra size is now. Was around 34C or 32D before, went up to 36DD and have dropped a bit now. Not going to get measured until I stop BF, though and can wear nice underwear again.

Good luck all you preggy ladies! This time last year I was in my last fortnight at work and very relieved to finish. Mat leave is for resting, putting your feet up and generally lounging around.

Exciting times all round! Enjoy the lazy days, although I remember the feeling of just wanting to get on with it all. Looking back I'm not quite sure how I stayed at work till 39 weeks, but maybe an air conditioned office helped!
