Congratulations Incognito, exciting news! Hope the next 8 weeks go quickly for you!

Battlecat - fab bump pic, you look great. Bit of a growth spurt in a month that! Are you feeling better after your dizzy spell?

Lambkin - well done on the run! Did you feel up to doing a parkrun too? I think I might start doing a few soon, it will be nice to still feel involved in an "event".

So I've been on holiday! And very excitingly, felt baby move for the first time while I was away! :-) It was quite weird that first time, but I've felt movement every day since and I love it, it makes me smile lots. All good otherwise, headaches now and again but not as often. Did a little run today and all good. 18 weeks on Wednesday and only just over 2 weeks until the big 20 week scan!

Congratulations Incognito! Welcome.

Didn't get out of bed in time for parkrun but went for a trot in the afternoon.

Yay for movement neems! Its just the most wonderful thing.I'm getting it every day too but it isn't very strong yet - my placenta is at the front so maybe that's why. I can't wait for kicks!

No more dizzy spells recently, i seem to get off days once every couple of weeks but am fine for the rest of the time.

I had my midwife appointment this morning so had a listen to the heartbeat, it sounds like something in between a steam train and galloping horses. I think more horses but maybe not. So I'm still straight down the middle on whether its a boy or a girl. The little minx/monkey kicked the doppler though so I also heard a big thud :-)

Everything is tracking as normal growth wise (still on the big end of the scale, but I had just had breakfast) and I'm not anaemic and glucose is normal as well. I was a bit worried about that as I've eaten sooooooo many sweets in the last few months.

The baby is lying with it's head at 7 o'clock so most of the movements I'm feeling must be punches rather than kicks. Everything's on the right side, not much on my left.

Great news on the movements. I'm really not a fan of the squirming but I'm not getting that so much now it's bigger just lots of thuds.

20 week scan is good. I preferred it to the 12 week one because it looked like a proper person doing proper things :-)

Congrats Incognito :)

Lambkin - my last pregnancy I had my placenta at the front. It was definitely a cushion for the movement!

Hope everyone is ok :)

Maeve is 10 mth already. Not quite sure where time has gone. Jemima is 2.5 yrs and they're both great fun. (I say this even though we are on holiday with the inlaws and M has woken me every hour!)

Thanks. The George stuff looks alright. I think I'm going to have to give in and buy some stuff, I spent ages this morning trying on various different outfits until I found something that I could a) get on b) would be OK for a hot day and c) was appropriate for the office!
