Great stuff on the run Lambkin. Runs that feel good are ace :-)

I'm glad I'm still running, did another 2.5 miles round the track at club tonight. I don't know how I'm still finding it OK. I feel fine running but I am now officially too fat to get off the sofa! I have to either haul myself up using the arms or sort of roll off it!

Well done BC and Lambkin! I am mega slow when I run but figure it's better than nothing!

How is everyone else otherwise? I had my 16 week midwife appointment yesterday, first time I've met her and she was lovely :-) I got to hear baby's heartbeat which I was really happy about as I wasn't sure if she would do that. It took her ages to find it though, like 10/15 mins but she wasn't giving up and didn't seem at all worried, whereas I was getting a bit nervy! But then there it was, chugging away like a little train :-) Apparently another old wive's tale is if it sounds like a train it means you're having a boy, and if it sounds like galloping horses it means you're having a girl!

I've not heard that one before Neems, I'll have to have a listen at my next one in a couple of weeks. I didn't get to hear it at 16 though, I didn't do much that appointment I don't think. Just blood pressure.

On the pregnancy side of things I'm still fine. Not much in the way of symptoms to report at all. I've got very mild and occasional heartburn and I can't bend down so well because my bump is getting in the way. I haven't slept very well for a few nights this week so that might be a new thing.

I'm 26 weeks today - next week is the last trimester - hopefully the home straight.

Oh, actually just remembered I have had another symptom. Leaking (*) (*) :-/ (only a very tiny tiny bit though!)

Great news about your appointment neems. I have a Doppler so I listen in to baby's heartbeat at home a couple of times a week. I find it very reassuring.

BC I think I started leaking at about the same point in my last pregnancy. It was a bit of a shock! Sounds like a good sign though - are you planning on breastfeeding?

I'm doing pretty well. I've been really hormonal and grumpy for the last few weeks but feeling a little better now. I'm starting to feel some movement which is lovely. I can't wait for proper kicks.

I'm going to start swimming next week. Can someone nag me if I don't go?

I'll take on the nagging duties :-) I tried on my wetsuit last night in the hope I'd get it on just once this season - no chance! I tried the OHs too, it would have just about done up but I think it would have been too restrictive. I'll just have to stick to the pool this summer unless it gets hot enough to swim without one (and I'd rather it didn't!)

Yeah, I'm planning of breastfeeding assuming I can so I'm taking leakage as a good sign. I slept well last night as well.

Parkrun again for me today. 7 seconds over 30 minutes but felt good all the way round an even managed a bit of a push towards the end. People are starting to come up to me during and after the run now and saying how impressed they are that I'm still running, which is nice. I feel completely fine still so hopefully I can keep going for a few more weeks before it becomes a run walk.

Thanks BC. You are doing great on the parkruns. I have a weird aversion to mine, even though it's just down the road as the last one I did was 5 days before we found out that M had died. Now I have a totally irrational fear that the same thing will happen if I go to parkrun. I need to get over it and go and run!
