My word I've been lurking on this thread for a long time! At least 5 years and it feels like a blink of the eye to me, if it goes faster when you have your own I'll be a pensioner before I know it!

I went to the midwife this morning and got the bump measured for the first time. It's on the upper end of the scale but within the range and the heartbeat is normal as is my blood pressure. So still low risk. Hurray!

I think I officially must look pregnant now as even men are noticing :-) On Sunday at swimming one of the guys 'guessed' (had to check with someone else first to make sure!) I only see him at least once a week in a swimming costume! And then last night the landlord at the pub noticed. I go every week for the pub quiz and haven't had an alcoholic drink in there all year. I thought he'd notice that his sales of Becks blue had gone through the roof as I'm sure nobody else in there drinks that crap

Good news battlecat! I'm looking forward to my first proper midwife appointment next week where I'll hopefully get to hear the baby's heartbeat again.

I've been off work today, struggling with headaches. I've had them almost constantly all bank holiday weekend, even in the middle of the night when I'll wake up because my head feels like it's splitting open. Means I've had hardly any sleep the past few days. Feeling a bit better now. Am guessing it's hormonal?

lol at even men noticing :-) I still don't look pregnant I don't think, just slightly rounded!

Have you been drinking enough neems? Is it possible you are dehydrated? Might be worth a quick call to your midwife / GP if it's still bad...

Hormonal or blood pressure maybe if it's not lack of water? I'd call your MW anyway to check x

Thanks ladies. Possibly dehydrated, I am bad for remembering to drink enough, but I made a conscious effort to drink more because of the headaches and it didn't make any difference. I'll call my midwife and I'm seeing her next week too.

I had dreadful headaches but also v dehydrated from morning sickness. Mind you they ended up giving me a brain scan as well as popping me on a drip. All was well. They just take no chances. Apparently preggy woman more at risk of clotting small risk but obv one they worry about. Had the out of hours doc not called neurology for advice on what painkillers to give me I doubt they'd have bothered.

I had one awful headache that lasted for 4 wks when I was around 12 wk pregnant with Maeve. Doc thought it was migraine but MW rolled her eyes and said it was just hormones. Do keep your fluids up. :)

I got another sub-30 parkrun this morning so pretty pleased with that.
I probably wouldn't have done it except I agreed to run with my friends 9yo as his 'responsible adult' in the pub last night (turns out I still get talked into stuff in those places even when sober) I didn't feel like running at the start and early on Noah got overtaken by his younger brother so he put a spurt on to keep up. First mile in sub-9 :-O Luckily he slowed to 9:30ish for the rest of the way and I settled into that pace comfortably.

I feel so much better for doing it but I think the baby has shifted on to my bladder now which is pretty uncomfortable so I've got my feet up on the sofa hoping it shifts elsewhere soon!

Well done on park run BC

Neems I'm struggling with headaches too in spite of consuming gallons of water. I had to go back to bed yesterday and went into work late.

On the more positive side I finally went for a run! Very slow but felt good...
