Do your mean the bp / urine tests weren't normal os? Has the gp sorted you? You've had a very stressful time so far. I hope you can rest and relax and now enjoy the rest of your pregnancy.

Maeve is doing well. Now well into 9-12 mth clothes. She's just gone 4 months. She's really long!

ooops....yes tiggia....I meant it was the first time the tests were not normal. BP was high and protein was found in urine. Went to GP on friday and still found protein. So have a nurse appointment on Wednesday for another check as I am off to Bath for a relaxing massage on Thursday. :-) And of course the Christmas market.

I picked up the moses basket today and got some more baby clothes and things for the hospital bag. OH has just been building the drawers for the changing table and will hopefully finish the table tonight once he has finished watching the NFL game we recorded last night.

And progress on the house as well. BT open reach guy was out to fix the fault only to find the builders didn't connect the phone line correctly in the house to the exchange outside.....hence a fault with the line.

Tomorrow....the washer arrives....then at some point we order a dryer.....

Off to Bath tomorrow to be forced to relax. Yay. Granted getting errands done actually does help me relax.

Quick note of help needed: Other than giving birth, is there a way I can get rid of the numb feeling from my fingers? There are some fingers that are just constantly numb and tingly.

I'm afraid only birth helped for me os. Funnily enough I don't think I got it second time round.

Sounds like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome to me OC. I had the same, but very mild, at the end of my pregnancy and as Tiggia says, giving birth helped. There are braces you can put around your wrist (mainly at night time I believe) which seem to help, but I haven't tried those. Not long for you now, time flies, I remember you joining the group (disguised ;) ) January seemed so far away back then. Now I've got a 3 month old little girl and it's nearly Jan. :)

Just wanted to say an early happy and healthy Christmas to all Fetch Mummies old and new and impending. I do keep up with the thread although have less relevant to say!
Been an uppy downy year for us. If rather a smoother ride next year if possible.
Currently negotiating school issues with eldest, started working again, part time and for myself so managing to fit it in, just. Family and neighbours, well you just can't choose them sadly. Oh and I'm struggling to know how to stop BF Cleo who is 2 and a bit and more interested than ever. I always said 'don't offer don't refuse' but it's been over 6 years of preggers or BF 3 kids or both at once now and I'm worn out frankly.

Onwards and upwards!

Xxxx
