Krissie our nursery are happy to have them in pushchairs.

Our visits are arranged for January, I'm phasing in until Feb and then full time. I have to say I am gutted. I felt bad with no. 1 but I feel really shitty this time. I;ve enjoyed having the time for them both. I knew nursery was expensive but as eldest left in August and he was on a lower rate due to his age I'd forgotten how much it was... £997.98 for a month. Including a discount. Jeezo. I could do 4 days like I did with no. 1 but apart from the fact that work would prob say no that would be a 1/5 salary decrease - the redundancy axe is never far I fear. Add in after school for no. 1 and it's not good. I'm really a bit :-/ about it.

I feel for you katypie. I think we all feel like that to some extent when we have to go back to work. The cost is a real issue and there are never enough hours in a day to spend enough quality time with our families.

Have you all seen "the confident mother" group on facebook. There is going to be an online conference in January and it's free. It looks to me like it'll be really useful. Just search for it on facebook and request to join the group to find out more.

It's been set up by SherryB.

Hello all, last day at work today and probably a pretty good decision for me to stop work earlier than to try and make it to the end of term.

I'm exhausted, plus we have just moved so have lots of things to unpack. And my midwife appointment this past Tuesday was the first time the normal urine and blood pressure tests were normal. Enough out of being normal that the midwife told me to get an appointment with the GP for today.

But for now I can rest and go baby shopping. Moses basket has been ordered. Just need basic clothing for the baby for the first few weeks and then can collect as time goes on I think.
