Sounds good Vickster. B has only done half days so far, he starts full days and school dinners after half term, I think he'll be pretty shattered then as well.

Hi, katypie good luck with your opinion. I have been through 3 General anaesthetics and rounds of the related analgesia and not needed to pump and dump. Each anaesthetist has said people have generals when giving birth and breastfeed newborns so all is fine. Much less faff. Especially when H never took a bottle, syringe, spoon, finger or anything even when I was stuck in a&e overnight each time. Hope it works out for you

Here's a daft question. In the middle of the night I fall asleep feeding and get cold shoulders (I wear a vest,,) my boob never gets cold even if we are mid feed and fell asleep. How can this be? Lol

Not sure why but I have superheated boobs as well. I guess they have so much blood supply and active ongoing metabolism within the tissue. I wear a cardi for night feeds to keep my shoulders warm.

Hello. Its been a while since i've been here. Life is way too stressful for me rightnow even though i am on half term. Still haven't moved into the house or completed on it. But thankfully i don't look pregnant in some of my clothes. So i will just wear that when signing papers for the house.

There was one week so stressful i had to stay away from the flat for 5 nights. Our phone and broadband got cut off for two weeks and only just got reconnected.

Physically (and shockingly with all the stress) my check ups with midwives are normal. Except for the last two days where i have been itching much more than normal and it kept me awake longer than normal the last two nights. So a trip to the GP was followed by a trip to maternity triage today to get blood taken in case its not just my eczema gone haywire.

Poor you with all that stress :(
Do you not want to look pregnant when signing for the house? Not sure I follow?
Hope the bloods are all ok and keep faith in your body doing what it needs to do.

Are you getting any respite from the stress? Nice preggy massage mebbe?

Tiggia - a pregnancy changes the mortgage offer. If you go onto any bank website and ask for a quote and all you change is the fact you have one child versus no child the offers change.

Does chopping off my hair count as getting respite from the stress? If not then no.....I'm working on it.

OS we hid it from our new landlord until we were in for a few months, as we really needed somewhere new at short notice and was worried they wouldn't take us in. When we did tell him he was absolutely wonderful about the whole situation!!

It can definitely affect loan applications as they ask for current salary details to ensure you can meet repayments, however you could technically get away with it by not declaring your pregnancy. You generally can't once your pregnant if only receiving smp and not entering into it with your partner/husband!!
