That sounds promising Krissie, sleeping right now is, almost literally, a nightmare. :( Am wondering how you are doing as well Taz? Not much longer for you either Ruth. :)

Trying not to get too hopeful for my due date, as there is not a whisper of a sign just yet. Trying to think of my due date as August 16th instead...

This might be better for the pregnumpcy thread... I'm thinking of stopping the BF'ing. I think I have thrush again and it burns like hell but wears off. The wee man isn't sleeping longer than a few hours at a time and I am just beat. I'm thinking formula might fill him more and let dad take a turn. I just feel so worn out and have no life - which sounds so selfish but it's really hard to not be able to get out for even a wee run without a huge amount of effort. I don't want to stop feeding but I am so worn out that I am doing less and less and getting more fed up. Maybe just a couple of down days.

Big hugs to you expectant mums xxx

Hi all, feeling fine at the mo, I have another shy baby that doesn't want to make an appearance quite yet!! How are Ruth and Susi, not long for you either!

That's tough katypie, are you exclusively BFing? It is very tiring - I didn't even think of running until LO was on solids so all credit to you even getting out there. Are you eating well, fluids and all that?

I am, yes. I don't suppose it helps that my idea of me time is exercise so it's tiring me out. I might drop the early evening feed for a bottle. I'm doing my best on the food front. not always healthy I must say, or rather just lots of food!!

Like you said, a bit of combo feeding might give you a respite... happy mum = happy baby!

Jess was 10 days late...

Could you reduce feeds and combine with formula? That's what I did when I started to cut down.

Sorry to hear about that Katypie, hope you get something sorted so that you're not in so much pain :(

Taz fingers crossed that the shy baby makes an appearance soon!!

I'm doing well, finally managed to catch up on some sleep today as I keep waking up at 6.30 with my OH and can't get back to sleep. So today has been the first time I've been able to snooze during the day :) I'm getting a lot of movement from baby just now (constant pummeling from dawn to dusk) and twinges/pressure where baby's head must be pressing down on - we've had a few moments where we've thought "this is it"

KP - if it is thrush, the meds start working within the first two days usually, can get it from your GP. But you have had a lot of problems with BF (and persevered!!) so in all honesty if you want to mix feed or stop, please do not feel like you have to justify iit at all. dropping some feeds might give you the respite you need. although having said that you might be nearly at the teething stage now(?) when boobs do become useful with a cranky baby xx

Thinking of all you bumps-soon to be babies, how exciting, you are nearly there :-)
