Owning an island, wow. Not sure what it would be like in winter though?

Or is that when we would head off to our warm weather commune?

Another vote for meditation, has been a help to me. In fact, it was running that got me interested in it.

:) I can only really do toast, but if you have a good recipe I suppose we could try that as well.

Hello folks.

2 things: I'm in the process of setting up a blog as I'm intending to live on a £10 a week food bill until my debt's been cleared; my eventual goal being to move to a larger flat with a garden and I can't port my mortgage at the mo'. In the last few months I've pared everything back. I intend to buy the absolute minimum until the debt's gone. 3 pairs of my shoes have got holes in and I can only wear them when it's raining and got a big haul of clothes from a recent clothes swap I organised at work. That's how serious I am.

I'm looking for suggestions for a wedding present. My work colleague has unexpectedly invited me to the evening do - it will be a lovely low-key affair. I've not met his girlfriend. I know he'd appreciate something inexpensive. What can I get for hardly any money that would be a nice thought? (I can't offer a service such as gardening, as I've got 3 jobs and am working 7 days a week.) He likes to cook and she doesn't.

I've also got a 50th to buy for and am thinking an Aeropress as he loves coffee. Other suggestions welcomed as I'd have to buy a mug to fit too and that's extra expense. Coffee lover who plays in a band.

Trawl some charity shops for a cook book for your friend RS?

Been a while since I've been to a wedding, but I perhaps just by a card and/or a voucher if invited to the evening do.

A nice little woods chest to store happy wedding memories in. You might get lucky and find one in a charity shop!!
