Hey kool kidz - thanks for all the birthday ideas. I went to a Naked Wine tasting and bought him some rose port and 2 bottles of red + an aerator. I popped round with a bottle for the 3 of us (inc his wife) to drink in the week and we had lots of fun with the noisy aerator + a few bottles of naughty red on a school night while putting the World bang to rights! Fun. I met one of my best old friends last week and he used to go out with my troubled ex's ex-GF. So he's still v friendly with his ex-GF and she told him all about troubled man. My friend also knows troubled man of old and said he didn't say anything to me because he felt I probably needed to find out for myself and that's fine. Troubled man has admitted to me he sought therapy in the past and is now back in it. Hope it helps him. On matters dog and man - I'm walking a new dog in a different green space and met a rather lovely chap last week with his dog. It's really difficult to tell if people are hitched; I just assume they always are. That's when you need Hann around to say something like "I'm walking Alfie for someone else; do you share the dog walking duties with your wife?" Ernie has typical cockapoo eyes and looks v much like my beloved P, who really belongs to J but perhaps a llittle bit to me too. HP said: My friend had a dream last night that involved him baking bread and going to bed with my bearded partner. Perhaps the dog will lead to a meeting of a bearded man. Now I'm trying to work out if: The friend is baking bread and shagging HP's work partner The friend is baking bread and shagging HP's real bearded partner The friend is baking bread and shagging HP's imaginary bearded partner Ernie is baking bread and snoozing on beardyman's duvet I quite like the look of some of the bearded chaps in Bristol. Not so much the hipster thing, but we have quite a few gorgeous Spaniards working in food establishments with dark, trimmed beards and huge brown eyes. Mmmm mmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm |

The dream involved me having a romantic partner. My friend was baking bread with him using some sort of Kenwood gadget. They then went to the pub. I don't know why I wrote bed instead of pub. I think it means that L drank too much beer and wine that evening |

Bears? HP's Freudian slip in replacing pub with bed I can understand....but where did the bears come from?

Hi all! Sorry things didn't work out with your chap RS. Beautiful dog HP I still lurk from time to time but I feel a bit of a fraud being here given how little running I'm doing at the moment. Stuff is good with me. Barbie is 6.5 months and keeping me really busy. I'm still on maternity leave until November. |

Glad motherhood is treating you well OB. Don't worry about not doing much running, neither am I and I've got no excuse Though I am signed up for the London Fetchmile at the end of the month. RS, are you back in Bristol now, or still in the suburbs? Not sure if I've asked, but have you been to the Bag O'Nails pub. A chap I know helps to run it. Of course, you have to like cats to go there really |

OB it is always nice to see you. Your wee one is adorable. They are such a joy aren't they? I am always amazed by how much they learn and grow at that stage.
