Sorry to hear this RS, sounds a bit similar to my situation a couple of years ago, when I had to bail out of moving in with the GF I was with. Such a difficult decision to make.

Make sure you look after yourself in this situation, as having to do this does take its toll.

Oh well ,the shelf is looking a bit busier these days then :)

It was getting pretty empty for a while! I'm just watching from a distance, in my case a return is getting increasingly less likely :-)

I think it's quite sweet how we all still lurk a bit and delurk occasionally :)

Thanks guys. I'm actually OK and relieved to be free of how unpredictable and difficult he can be. I also feel for the children - it must be really hard for them.

I like when people delurk. We all get to know each other and be part of the journey, then people disappear. It's nice to hear how folks are.

Oh dear. Sorry to hear that, RS. Tough decision to have to make, but it does sound like the right one.

Thanks guys. Friends have been v supportive and can see it's the right thing to do. I feel a little less frustrated and guilty now. He needs to try to reflect and consider getting help perhaps.

Life is busy at the moment. I'm trying to move to another area and hopefully get a 2-bedroomed flat. I've got to spruce my flat up in the meantime and try to save some money. I want to be somewhere more vibrant, rather than the sedate suburb I currently live in. I'm viewing a property on Thursday just to see what's out there.

Do you see yourself as a city type then RS?

I'm in sedate suburbia, all be it with plenty of trees and green which is nice, but not a lot happens.

I find myself gravitating towards busier places with more going on , like Brighton , with its fab music scene, and being by the sea, of course.
