Somehow I am leading my running club out for a 6 miler tomorrow but I don't know the area that well. Just used the Fetch route plotter to work out a route. Could be fun :-)

Yes, you can HF... but at the moment, I can only afford the macro lens, which is a lot cheaper than the telelens that is on the wishlist :) You can also get a wide angle one...

Very pleased with that moss by the way. We went for landscapes, but the clouds were dull dull and duller and no light or textures, everything was flat, until I went close up and found this little landscape on a crumbling re-inforced concrete post :)

Afternoon all.

I've been out leafleting for my business. I am seriously tired. Didn't manage to get around all the streets I wanted to, but I'm that tired that I'm concerned about burning out. I'll have to do a couple at a time on the evenings as I'm at the uni Mon-Thurs next week.

Doing some web work at the mo' and working on marketing ideas. I'm having to wait to build up some sort of a marketing budget again - I need to think about having a stall at local fetes, getting a polo shirt with my logo and details on + an ad in a local thing that comes through the letterbox. I'm really struggling to get my own housework done as I'm running around so much. Flat looks grubby and garden is in serious need of weeding - that's planned for next Fri in between a job interview for occasional shifts and having a dog with me in the afternoon.

I was going to do some gardening today, but just about managed to plant asparagus, onions and garlic before the weather changed. It is now blowing a gale and rain is lashing on the windows, very unpleasant. It was lovely and sunny and sping like earlier...

AM is under the weather and about to go to bed for a couple of hours... we may or may not go and see Shaun the Sheep in Abergavenny at 5 pm... I fear I gave him my bug :(

I got invited to the meat eaters last night for a meal. Got a call at 13:00 yesterday to ask if I ate mince, then got told to bring my own. I was out at that point and had no time to prepare anything that would work with their meal. :( I'd been quite excited at the thought of being cooked for ... I should've known better. They are very generous in lots of ways, but it can get annoying having to prepare something at the last minute or go without and it ends up being expensive for me - bring my own main course, bottle of wine and contribution to nibbles or sometimes bringing a dessert.

Weather has been changeable all day. Sun, by the time we were dressed rain, once I started doing a work out sun came out again, by the time we were ready to head out rain. We saw Shaun the Sheep. It was good and funny but just like an extended episode of the TV show we used to watch all the time. I ate so much popcorn I still feel sick.

RS please look after yourself. I know it's important to build up business but not at the expense of your health. FWIW I think it's really rude of your friends. It's not like it's a one off. They know you are veggie, they should make an effort to provide something appropriate.

There are lots of amazing (and easy) recipes out there. It bothers me that their kids never get a vegetarian meal and therefore no positive experience of not eating meat. When it was my turn to cook, I was concerned that everyone would say "Where's the meat?" but I did a fish curry, some dals and a kale and chickpea curry for the kids. Went down really well.
